Blog/Prayer

My turkey is thawing in the fridge. I have a ham in the freezer but not fixing it for a few days after Thanksgiving. No need in crowding the fridge with two meats.
I have to make pies tomorrow even though I'm fighting a sinus cold. I want to say flu and it probably is but I'm trying to be optomistic.
It was Bethany's (Goo's) birthday yesterday. Went by her party at the Oasis and had a wonderful time with my baby. We were all there except for Tristany (Twitter). She was working.
Goo got lots of presents. She looked so tickled to have friends all around her. Wiley is good for her. They are so sweet together.
Zak is playing football in the other room, Randal is asleep on the couch. My girls are all home asleep except for Twitter who works nightshift with her guy Patrick. My parents are home probably asleep and the rest of my family...I don't know. I'm a nightbird so I'm up and at it. Finished writing 3 poems and fixing to edit my book "Autumn Bay". I won't finish editing but got to get to it.
My cousin Terrie is home but in the hospital by what I hear in Knoxville. I want to see her but with this FLU it's impossible. I went to see her the other day but they didn't want anyone to see her at that time so it was very sad for me. She didn't feel good. I guess I thought that I could bring a little smile to her face but that was my own selfishness thinking.
Off to edit and God bless our family and freinds and animals. Help us all and keep us safe. Thank you father. A-men, All-men

Thanksgiving is coming soon

It's Thanksgiving time in America and I am getting ready. I have my Butterball turkey, my fully cooked ham and my list of other goodies to make. I want to make this year a special year for the big dinner. I would love to invite someone or people who can't cook or who don't have family to share with. I will be thinking of such a person or persons.

I do have one already, our friend from Washington. He's in right now and staying through the holidays so that will be nice but I would like to find an elderly person or persons who have no extended family or family who can't come see them. Of course I will invite all my children. Usually all of them cook or have other family they go to like my parents and their in-laws but Momma's kitchen is open to them always without being said.

I talked to a lady the other day in the supermarket who gave me a most wonderful, simple recipe for Pumpkin pie.
She said to buy one of the big can's of pumpkin and two regular graham cracker pie crust. Cream cheese and a little cool-whip. She said to take the cream cheese (she didn't specify how much) and add a bit of powered sugar to it and a bit of cool-whip. I loved how she said bit's and some. lol Mix it together and lay a layer on the pie crust. Pour in some pumpkin pie then another layer of it then the rest of the pie. I'm pretty sure she said this and if not, just add the cream cheese mixture and then the pumpkin. It sound so easy. I will try it.

Please Pray for Terrie. She has an infection at the time and needs prayers to eradicate it. She also needs prayer for the chemo to work and kill out the blast cells and for the good cells to form and grow. Robin Michelle's Sculptures

I did these from Sculpey oven bake clay.
It was so cool. I just did it without any lessons. I tried it first with some non-bake clay and my kitties got a hold of them and tore them apart because they stay soft. But the white ones here are baked hard. I didn't paint them. Not sure I want too.

The one with the big stach look's a bit like my first hubby and my recent one combined???? Don't ask me how or why...it just looks like that to me! LOL The one with the Gilligan hat reminds me of my landlord. The Indian reminds me of quite a few people lol.
Anyway, if you haven't tried it or know someone who would like too, it's a wonderful gift idea. It's fun. ~R♥b

My Garden(s)

Planted my Cucumbers and Okra together and they did wonderful. The cucumbers spread out and take up much ground room. The Okra grows straight up and takes up little ground. Like my post below, I planted these from two year old seeds which were never opened.
They have done beautifully. My Lima beans (above right) are also from seeds.
Happy Gardening. ~R♥b

My Veggies from Seeds

I want to share my veggies with you. I am so happy with these. I grew them from seed. This is my first attempt to grow veggies from seed. I usually get plants or don't grow at all but I am so tickled this year with my results.
I also am growing some Lima beans. I grew tomatoes from plants. It's a beautiful thing to watch your own food grow. It's even better when you taste it. Yum!!!!! Ü ~R♥b

Profiling my daughters one at a time. 4th daughter

Tristany (Twitter) Roxie Helen is so special too. I have to say that she is my Tom-boy lady! She can actually be a lady one day and a tom-boy the next.

Tristany was (from the start in the womb) kicking my butt. I am not kidding. She kicked more than all my other girls together. When she was a baby she still kicked me to get her way. Her dad often said that we should put her in Karate.

Tristany is a beautiful young lady. She is my baby and still a teen. She's tough and I must say she is much like her father in toughness but looks more like me. She can get along with everyone but will not take anything from anyone.

She loves her boyfriend, family and friends. She loves her little raccoon and doggies. She's a versatile person. I love her personality. She never meets a stranger much like her sister Tiffany and she isn't shy to ask for help...like her sister and her momma (me). LOL She also giving and worries too much. She's graduating school and hopefully thinking about college.

Tristany's Indian name is Star Dance because she twinkles from wherever in the world she is.

She is very special to me. Tristany is straight forward and practical which is much like her big sissy Brittany. Her heart is giving like her sissy Bethany. She is a wonderful person to be around and I love her.

Profiling my daughters one at a time. 3rd daughter

This is my third daughter Bethany (Goo) Meagan. She is just as beautiful as her two big sisters. Bethany was born with purple eyes. I knew she was special from the start. Even the nurses and doctor told me that she was the most beautiful baby they had ever seen born.

Bethany loves everyone. She will not have an enemy. She gives freely and hesitates to ask for help. She is so special. She laughs easily, is a hard worker and loves her man with her whole heart. They go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Bethany is like her baby sis in a way. She is mostly a lady but can be a tough tomboyish girl! lol Like I said, she will have no enemies but it's for the best because I wouldn't want to tangle with her. All my girls have their daddy's toughness and momma's good looks! LOL

Bethany's Indian name is Sun Dance. She shines like the sun and dances like it too.

Bethany is a pharmaceutical assistant. She loves her man, work, family and friends...and I love her.

Profiling my daughters one at a time. 2nd daughter.

This is Tiffany Michelle. She is my second born daughter. She is very much like me, her mother. She is much more sensitive though. She's beautiful and many people tell her this. Even though Tiffany is sensitive and loves everyone, she is not to be messed with because if you hurt her she will hurt you just for making her feel bad enough to do so. She loves to be happy.

She has an outgoing personality, loves to laugh, hold babies but there is one thing that isn't like mommy...she loves television too much! lol She loves to read and she also writes poetry. She loves to be at home and around familiar surroundings. She loves her man, Son, family and friends.

Tiffany's Indian name is Moon Dance. Because she can stay up with the moon and is about as moody as the moon...even though she's a Libra.

She sells Avon and it's a really big business today. She's a people person and I feel that she hasn't yet tapped into her full potential yet.

Tiffany has a son and is now awaiting a baby girl! She is so excited and so is her son. Even her man is excited.

Tiffany shines a bubbly personality toward everyone. All love to be around her. I love her.

Profiling my children one at a time. 1st: Brittany Mische'

Brittany Mische' is the oldest of four. I was blessed with beautiful girls. They have been a wonderful joy in my heart and life. Before their father passed away, I shared them with one of the best fathers in the world.

Brittany is multi-talented like HER MOMMA! lol
She can dance and yes I was dancing with her in my womb to MICHAEL JACKSON, FLEETWOOD MAC, BOB SEGER, TOM PETTY, ROLLING STONES, PRINCE, WELL ABOUT ANY THING THAT HAD A MOVE AND GROVE...BUT MOSTLY TO MICHAEL JACKSON.
*************************************************************************************

Brittany is a beautiful and solid person who says it like it is. She's organized and tidy with herself as well as her surroundings. She's on the petite side and is complimented always. She's done professional modeling.

She loves to be around people and constantly be doing something. She loves shopping, browsing or just hanging with her husband and kids. She has two beautiful children.

She a wonderful person to talk to isn't easily influenced by anyone. Brittany has always been one to just pop you in the mouth rather than argue. She puts a lid on it right away. She loves to get along with everyone but like her daddy, she will strike first. She was like this as a child. Over all though, all my children love to get along with everyone and mostly always have.

Her Indian name is "Brave Heart Dance" because of being so brave and also she was born premature and fought as a preemie to become the wonderful woman she is today and the dance is in all my girls. We love to dance.

She is now a Respiratory Therapist and helps people in this world. I love her.

Robin Michelle's Visions: Terrie's Fight

Robin Michelle's Visions: Terrie's Fight

http://www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#/group.php?gid=97822837572

Terrie's Fight

In the above picture is one of the sweetest and most beautiful people I have ever known in my life. Her name is Terrie Lynn Combs and she is my cousin and my friend. She smiles in this picture because she beat Cancer. She had the worse Cancer known to man and came back from stage 4 of this rapid, horrible, progressive Leukemia. She did it with the help of her most cherished supporter and soul mate, her husband Brett Combs. She did it with the help of her own beautiful earthly angels, her children, Brance, Megan and Britni. She did it with the help of her sisters, Lesa and Denise and the rest of her family and friends. Most of all she did it with the help of God.

Prayers soared to Jesus from everyone who loves Terrie. Jesus delivered them to our father who embraces us all. God delivered a miracle. Terrie went into remission and stayed there for almost four years.

A few days after Easter of this year, Terrie received the most horrible news that she was out of remission and the Cancer was back and more aggressive than ever. It was the most heartbreaking news for her and her family. What could have happened? Why did it happen again? Almost four years of regaining strength, financial security and peace of mind and then it returns! It was almost too overbearing for her. If not for the will power, strength and sheer determination of her husband Brett; Terrie may have spiritually given up.

Brett told her to live because without her, he would die of a broken heart. So now Terrie is fighting once again to live for her husband, her children, family, friends and even her special pets at home. She is fighting this fight with the help of lots of faith and prayers.

Even though the toll of this is hard emotionally, physically and mentally...it's also hard financially.
I asked Brett how they were paying their bills and keeping up the family and apartment in Texas which is so far away from their Tennessee home. He commented that even though the insurance is covering the treatments in Texas, they still have the co-payments which he had to agree to pay just to get Terrie into surgery for a bone marrow transplant. There's also the rent on an apartment for him and his children and even Terrie if and when recovery starts.
There is his own house payment, not to mention his other bills. He had to purchase an expensive insurance policy in order for Terrie's treatment to be covered. The list goes on and on...

Brett also is not working when he is with Terrie during this time supporting her and honestly keeping her alive with all the encouragement that he can muster. He stays up nights watching her, making sure she continues to fight. He gets a few hours at a time of sleep but never enough. He needs our help.

I was talking this idea over with him the other night and I came to the conclusion that Brett is not a taker. He is a natural born giver. Seeing this and knowing this bothers me tremendously because Brett is having to worry not only for the life of his wife but for the keeping of their home for them and their three children and pets. It's a family home where Terrie's parents are buried in a private cemetery on the property. They don't ever want to loose this place. They need our help.

Now with the recession, times are tight. This is not an attempt to collect loads of money from everyone...this is an attempt to ask for one dollar from everyone who reads this and if we have enough people to send one dollar a piece...Brett could have some of the help he needs to rid him of at least one worry. It won't only let him worry less but he will then be able to concentrate fully on helping his wife Terrie to recover from this horrible disease and to come home with him and their children to live in peace and security.

I am telling you that these two people love each other and they are the definition of what marriage should be. They are the light and love of each others eyes. I smile whenever I think of the two of them together and they are inspirations and hope for all couples in a relationship.
Please help me to help them to stay together. I beg of you to help them the only way we can right now and that is with deep prayers to Jesus for Terrie's recovery. Also for a dollar from every viewer and if you could pass this along to all of your friends, organizations such as Churches, Schools, Businesses...It would be forever appreciated.

Please copy the links above to post in your group pages please. One link has to be copied and pasted. This link will take you directly to the "Pray for Terrie" site. It's the update which her husband posts. You will be touched and moved by the spirit of love when you read the post that Brett posts every single night (if able) about his loving wife's condition. He updates it so that we can know what Terrie is going through and so that we can pray for specific areas which need the most prayers.

If you would like to send a dollar to Terrie. I have no fancy set up for it. This is an idea which I hope can work for this family...for the time being.

Please send it to:

Many thanks and many blessings for you.

I feel for Michael Jackson's kids

I can't help but wonder about these children. The older two will miss him terribly but little Prince Michael (blanket) is so much like Michael that it's scary. His big, shy eyes seem to wonder when daddy is coming to get me...It's heartbreaking.

Raven

Here are a couple of drawings I did in my Paint shop Photo X2.
The first one is one of my characters in my novel. The second was going to be her but I changed her to the first one. Actually the second one's head is not proportioned right... lol.
I don't care, I still like her. Ü

SNAKE!!!!

LOL, I NEED TO KNOW IF ANYONE KNOWS THE KIND OF SNAKE THIS IS.
I TOOK THIS PICTURE IN THE MOUNTAINS IN EASTERN KENTUCKY. I APPROACHED THE SNAKE AND GOT REALLY CLOSE. I STARTED TO GRAB IT BUT SOMETHING SAID, "NO...DON'T." LOL

I HAVE NEVER SAW THIS TYPE OF SNAKE OR COLOR BEFORE. SORT OF A WEIRD GREENISH/WHITE COLORING. I WISH I HAD GOTTEN A BETTER PICTURE OF THE EYES.

EVP Cell Phone Recording of my Late Ex Husband

On February the seventeenth of this year 2009, I was checking my voicemail for an a message that I had received a few days before. I needed an extension number a lady had left for me to call her back. I had planned to call her later after getting her message because I was busy at the time of the call.

I decided on the seventeenth to call her back and like I said went to my voicemail messages. No new messages had came through so I figured it would be the first one that I would hear. It wasn't. The first one was an urgent message. I listened and at first it sounded like a bad connection from a wrong number or something. I ignored it. I almost erased it but something told me not too. I didn't. After I got the extension number from the message and called the cable place, I went back and listened to my first message again. I played it and right away I thought of my ex-husband.

I shook the thought and out of curiosity, I played it again. I sounded more like him and it sounded like he said, "Let me out of here!" It was a horrible extended cry out. I was almost frozen in my seat. I couldn't breathe for a minute and tears filled my eyes. I listened again and again and with each play, his voice was so clear to me. I forwarded the message to our daughters. They said that it did sound a little like him to them but they couldn't fathom the idea of their father crying out in the manner this person was crying out. It was scary for them.

I played it for my husband. He knew my ex-husband and he knew his voice well. My husband is by no means into EVP or practicing any spiritual "happenings" like I have. Right away after hearing the message he responds, "It sounds like your ex is trying to tell you something." I hadn't even mentioned my ex-husband to my husband when I ask him to hear the message! He thought right away that it was my ex.

I played it for another person who knew my ex very well. She had went to school with him all her life and remained friends with him long after our divorce. As soon as I played it, she jumped back and held her arms saying that she had chills. She said right away that it was my ex-husband.

I still have his voice/message on my cellphone. I am going to get it off if this is possible and I'm sure it is by what I've read on here tonight. The only other time I have had an experience with my phone is when he died and I went to him with my daughters right after he had passed and my phone was going crazy at the time, ringing with no number showing, going to the voicemail by itself and playing a message from the middle of the messages which was from his house with his voice on it. I had never received the message until after he died. It kept coming on and playing this message all by itself for weeks. I couldn't call out on my phone or received calls due to something pushing my buttons constantly. I put the phone up for about two weeks. Finally got it out and it worked again just fine. It never has given me anything odd until my mothers birthday on the sixteenth of this year 2009. That was the date of the new message. I checked it on the seventeenth.
The call was from an unidentified caller.

I will update when I get my message off and onto the computer.

"Robin Michelle's Visions"

Picture above was taken last year. I was turning my head in this photo as I snapped the picture. The face in the T.V. behind me was not blurred at all. Looks like a man's face with a mustache. It does resemble my ex-husband.
